A complete Cannery village built in the early 1900's, Tallheo was one
of hundreds that thrived along the British Columbia coast. As
technology improved, the need for these cannaries dwindled and most of
them
closed. During the last few years, Tallheo has been undergoing
restoration, we are bringing it back to life and we are ready to go.

Things To Do

With our 168 acres we have several hiking
trails. Hike up to what just might be the largest Douglas Fir
tree in the Bella Coola area. Relax on our 4 acre private
beach. We have a salmon and trout stream that flows
through the Tallheo property. Advanced hikers can certainly go "beyond"
as the adjacent land is wilderness.
Sea Kayak or canoe Bella Coola's amazing waterfront.

We can customize your holiday adventure with your choice of fishing,
cruising or visit our local hot springs.
We can arrange sight seeing trips to BC's biggest Cedar
Tree or a visit to local Petroglyphs and
trips by air to
Hunlen Falls; the famous Monarch Ice Fields and Rainbow Mountains. Come
and Join Us!
