Generation and transmission are the responsibility of Central Coast Power Inc. Potential generation of 13 Megawatts at Ocean Falls. Power from Ocean Falls is distributed from B.C. Hydro sub-station on Denny Island. This station covers Denny Island and Campbell Island (Waglisla). Sub-station on Denny Island includes 6 diesel generators that pick up the load for both islands when there is an outage. In effect this means power outages are usually picked up in under 30 minutes.
