Tweedsmuir Park

The largest park in BC with about 98,000 hectares offers exceptional opportunities for the outdoors enthusiast especially for extremist. Be prepared if you are planning to spend any time in this park- contact BC Parks and find out more information. There is one Forest Service Road in the park which is a great afternoon drive and some fishing along the way. Tweedsmuir Park offers several good trails that are well marked and maintained. There are two campsites in the Bella Coola valley portion of the park. Kettle Pond and Tweedsmuir Bog are interesting places for a day trip and Burnt Bridge Trail offers some good viewpoints and is the head of the Heritage Grease Trail. Find Big Rock which cracked in half in a cold snap a few years back and is now called Two Rock.
